At Paraísos baixo o lixo our mission is to promote environmental sustainability, respect for cultural heritage and the defence of human rights through education, training and citizen participation.
We focus on various thematic areas to achieve our goal:
Environmental, heritage and human rights education
We are committed to raising awareness and educating people about the importance of caring for the environment, valuing and preserving cultural heritage, and promoting a society based on human rights.
Teaching of Vocational Training for Employment and tutoring of competitions
We work to train and educate people in different professional areas, providing opportunities to improve their skills and knowledge, as well as offering support and tutoring for those seeking to prepare for competitive examinations.
Cultural heritage and green infrastructure projects
We are involved in the research, development and promotion of projects related to the preservation of cultural heritage and the creation of sustainable green infrastructures that contribute to a more balanced and environmentally friendly environment.
Cultural and environmental routes
We organise and promote guided tours and visits that combine cultural and environmental aspects, allowing people to discover and appreciate the historical, natural and cultural richness of our region.
Environmental volunteering and community outreach
We encourage the active participation of volunteers in actions and projects related to the protection of the environment and the improvement of the quality of life in our communities.
We seek to encourage citizen participation and promote a sense of belonging and responsibility towards our environment.
Legal advice and training on equality and data protection
We provide legal advice on issues related to the environment, human rights, gender equality and data protection. In addition, we offer training to promote equal opportunities and raise awareness of the importance of protecting privacy and personal data.
